Recycle your tennis balls

Stop throwing away all those used tennis balls.  There are lots of recycling programs out there like Project Green Ball.

According to the Project Green Ball site, 300 million tennis balls are manufactured worldwide each year.  Tons of balls wind up in landfills and decompose very slowly, which is harmful to the environment.

Used tennis balls have lots of different alternative uses – from animal shelters to furniture – making it easy to take advantage of your recycling effort.
